This page explains what information this app collects, how it's used, and how it's protected. It's written in plain language rather than legal boilerplate — if anything here is unclear, use the contact info at the bottom.
Account information. Creating an account requires a username, a password, and a security question and answer used for password recovery. Email address is optional — it's used only to enable "email me a temporary password" account recovery. We also record the IP address of your most recent login, used only for account security and abuse prevention.
Study progress. As you study a question set, we record which questions you've attempted, whether you got them right, and when — tied to your account — so the app can show your progress and let you filter to questions you've missed. Question sets themselves (and any reference figures) are shared content managed by site admins, not personal data.
Account and study data is stored in a local database on the server this app runs on. It is not sent to, or shared with, any third-party database, analytics platform, or data broker.
Passwords and security-question answers are never stored in plain text. They're hashed (salted PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256) before being saved, and checked using a constant-time comparison at login.

This site uses one cookie required for it to function: a session cookie that keeps you signed in. If advertising is active, Google may also set cookies for ad delivery and measurement, as described above.
Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. There's currently no self-service way to delete an account from within the app — to request deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us using the information below.
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
